The human skill layer

Humanoid robots are coming, and they will take your job.

Don't let your skill be taken for free.

HumanLore turns human mastery into licensable robot skills — and pays you when they're used.

Turn My Skill Into an Asset

If your mastery took years to build, it shouldn't disappear when you stop.

Why HumanLore

Intelligence is getting a body.

  1. 01Strength

    First, machines replaced our strength.

The Industrial Revolution automated physical labor.

  2. 02Routine

    Then, software replaced routine work.

Computers automated calculation, communication, and administration.

  3. 03Cognition

    Now, AI is replacing cognition.

It can reason, create, analyze, communicate, and learn across disciplines.

  4. 04Embodiment

    Next, intelligence gets a body.

Humanoid robots will combine machine intelligence with the ability to operate in the physical world.

Physical work is next

This time, no category of human work is protected. Not the kitchen. Not the shop floor. Not the garage, the salon, the job site, or the farm. If the work is physical, it's on the list.

When a machine can perform the same task better, longer, more consistently, and at a lower cost, employing a human for that task will stop making economic sense.

The age of human labor is ending. The age of human skill ownership must begin.

We're not going to pretend otherwise.

The body will walk.

It will grip. It will see, balance, and follow instructions. That's hardware, and companies are investing billions in building the bodies.

But a body is not a trade.

A robot that can hold a knife is not a butcher. One that can hold a comb is not a barber.

Valuable physical work depends on specific ways of doing specific things, often learned through years of getting them wrong. Computing power alone does not automatically reproduce that judgment.

The robot bodies are advancing quickly. The skill layer is not ready.

The recording analogy

A performance became an asset.

A musician used to get paid for the night. They played, they took their fee, they went home. Stop playing, stop earning. Then someone figured out how to record it.

The same performance could suddenly play in a city they had never been to, in a year they weren't working, on a device that hadn't been invented yet — and it could create value again and again.

Every trade is still stuck before recording. A chef gets paid for the shift. A barber for the cut. The mechanic for the job. Retire, and forty years of judgment walks out of the building with you.

Robots are the playback. HumanLore is the recording.

So the question was never whether robots do your job. The question is who gets paid when they do.

HumanLore is building toward a world where human mastery can be captured, refined, adapted for compatible robots, and licensed wherever that work is needed. When your skill earns licensing revenue, you earn your share. Under your agreement, that right can pass to your estate.

The knowledge machines are missing

They are learning to move. What they still lack is knowing when it's right.

01

The chef who knows by smell it comes off the heat now

02

The barber working a head shape he's never seen before

03

The mechanic who diagnoses by sound

04

The welder reading the puddle

05

The tailor who feels the fabric is going to fight him here

06

The farmer who can tell by looking

None of it is written down. It lives in hands, it took decades to build, and it is currently scheduled to die on the ordinary human timetable.

Machines are going to learn this work either way. The only question is who gets paid.

How it works

From lived experience to a licensable Skill Seed.

Other companies are spending billions on the bodies. We're building the layer they're missing: the skills, the licensing, and the payments back to the people who taught them.

  1. 01

    Apply.

Tell us what you can do.

  2. 02

    We select.

We evaluate distinctiveness, capture feasibility, safety, future robot fit, and expected demand. Not everyone gets in.

  3. 03

    You capture.

Complete guided sessions using the phone, tablet, or computer you already own. We walk you through the process.

  4. 04

    We build the Skill Seed.

Your video, audio, decisions, success criteria, and failure conditions become a structured record of how you work.

  5. 05

    We adapt and validate it.

When compatible robots are available, we work to make the skill playable and test whether a robot can reproduce the defined result.

  6. 06

    Validated skills enter the marketplace.

The skill is listed with creator attribution unless the creator chooses an approved alternative.

  7. 07

You share in what it earns.

You receive 50% of the net licensing revenue HumanLore receives from the skill, for the term defined in your agreement.

One skill library. Many compatible robots and operators.

Who should apply

If it lives in your body and took you years, we want it.

Cooking. Trades. Fabrication. Repair. Agriculture. Craft. Personal services. Movement.

You're a fit if you can do something:

  • Repeatedly, with a result experienced people would recognize as good
  • Better, faster, or cleaner than most people who try it
  • Using movement, judgment, timing, touch, or an experienced eye
  • Safely, on camera
  • And explain it while you do it

That last one is not a formality. We're not recording your hands. We're recording why.

Invite someone

Know someone robots should learn from?

Maybe it's your mother's cooking, your barber's technique, your mechanic's instinct, or a craftsperson whose work can't be replicated.

Send them your link. If their skill enters the library, their way of doing it is the version that gets preserved.
