The robots capable of performing most physical trades are still being built. We are building the library ahead of the market on the bet that the market shows up. If the timing takes longer than expected, your Skill Seed remains in the archive for the term of your agreement, ready for the compatible robots and buyers that follow.
Anyone in this space quoting you a reliable number is guessing. It depends on whether robots reach your task, how many operators want the skill, and what they are willing to pay. It could become meaningful income. It could earn nothing.
Some depend on materials we can't standardize or conditions we can't reproduce. We'll tell you straight if yours is one of them.
A recording can meet the capture requirements and still fail robot validation.
What we do promise
Before capture begins, we tell you in writing exactly what completion requires and what you're agreeing to. Your underlying skill and pre-existing intellectual property remain yours. And we will never be vague about money: your agreement will define what can be deducted and exactly how your share of licensing revenue is calculated.
